Azalea tour at the Arboretum

The Donald E. Davis Arboretum will host a spring meeting of the Azalea Society of America, or ASA, this Sunday, April 22. The ASA’s Alabamense Chapter will meet at the Arboretum Pavilion at 2 p.m. for a tour of more than a thousand new deciduous azaleas. One of the world’s most recently described azalea species, the Red Hills azalea, is well represented in the Arboretum collection and will be in full bloom this weekend.
